A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I am not making art, I spend most of my time watching Hallmark movies. (I have been lucky enough to stay home and take care of my three lovely daughters. I also have a Masters in Art Education and hope to go back to teaching in the future.)

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because my career as a game show host did not pan out. (Art is within me. I have always been interested in creating things - from clothes to paintings to wood structures. It is who I am.)

3. What inspires you?

Infomercials are my greatest source of inspiration. (Most of my works have been inspired by my life. A friend's lipstick mark on my jacket, my love for guitars, or someone that I have come across in my life that perhaps has been my muse of the moment.)

4. What/who are your influences?

I try not to be influenced by anyone or anything as I have a great fear of ending up in a cult. (John Singer Sargent is my go to guy.)

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

If I could meet anyone, it would be Scooby Doo. Talking dogs are awesome. (I would like to have met Robin Williams.)
